Emergency

In the event of an emergency during our normal office hours please call ahead if possible and proceed directly to our practice.

Immediate medical attention should be sought out for your pet if he/she
• Cannot urinate
• Has been hit by a car, even if injuries appear minor
• Is bleeding
• Has trouble breathing
• Is suddenly very ill
• Is convulsing
• Has ingested poison
• Is unconscious
• Is in hard labor for over an hour
• Has any type of eye problem

Call our office at 717-656-4144 if you are ever unsure if your problem is an emergency.

After-Hours Emergencies

We feel that in an after hour emergency situation, the best care your pet can receive is at the emergency center at PETS. If you do have an emergency when the staff at Brownstown Animal Hospital is unavailable, please call 717-295-7387. Please see the map and directions.

Go south on 222 to rt 30 west. Exit rt.30 at the Fruitville pike exit, turn left onto the Fruitville pike and go downtown. Fruitville Pike changes to Prince St. Turn Left on Liberty St. then turn Left on Queen St. See PETS on the left.
